Hard to believe it may be, but there are actual real people behind Bikemagic.com, RoadCyclingUK.com and SheCycles.com (aka “the Magicalia cycling group”). If you’re at this year’s Cycle Show (ExCel, London, 14-16 October) you can meet the team and, perhaps more compellingly, get a chance to win some top prizes.

Win a Marin B-17 worth £675

BM’s got a lovely Marin B-17 trail hardtail (worth &pound675;) up for grabs, while RCUK’s offering a Kinesis road bike and SheCycles has a shiny Specialized road bike, women-specific of course. To enter the draw, you just need to head to the test track in the middle of the hall, go for a spin on a bike – any bike, although the like the ones you can win will be available – and then head for the Magicalia encampment on stand M38 to post a short review on one of our sites. Once you’ve done that you’ll automatically be in the relevant hat – we’ll pick a winner out once the show’s closed.

The rest of the show should be pretty impressive, too. Having outgrown Islington’s Business Design Centre, Cycle has moved out to Docklands and the considerably bigger ExCel. It’s a good time of year for a bike show – we’ve just had the big trade shows and this’ll be the first opportunity to see lots of brand-new stuff in the metal.
