The Bicycle Music Festival will come to London on 5/6 June to showcase the talents of five bands collectively known as the Pleasant Revolution, who are unique in that they travel to events with their instruments on specially converted bikes known as Xtracycles.
The Pleasant Revolution Bicycle Music Festival Tour follows in the tyre tracks of the San Francisco BMF, claimed to be ‘the largest 100% bicycle-powered music festival in the world’.
They will take in 19 cities spread over 10 countries and 7,500km of riding and London is next on their stops. They will play at places all over the city including London Fields, Stepping Stones Farm and the Pangea project over the two days and another unique factor is that their 1,200 watt PA system will be powered by bicycle power.
The bands making up the Pleasant Revolution are The Ginger Ninjas, The Genie, Cello Joe, Amanda Mora and Stitch Craft.
