If you're one of those people who watches telly (and apparently there's quite a few of them), you may well be familiar with the BBC's SAS: Are You Tough Enough?. The show takes 30 members of the public, ships them out to some extreme environment or other and put them through their paces with challenges devised by ex-SAS guys. 29 people will drop out during the series, and one will win...

The third series is currently being planned, and the producers are looking for 30 "superfit members of the public". And while we have no doubt that some BM members break new ground in slackness, we have an inkling that a fair few of you actually fall into that category. So here's your chance to get involved.

Assistant Producer Emily Conroy says, "It's mentally and physically gruelling, but a chance for people to push themselves beyond anything they've done before - I know previous volunteers have found it extremely hard but incredibly rewarding and a once-in-a-lifetime experience."
