We (as in the royal I) are just in the throes of getting ready to go to this weekend’s 24-hour fest of Sleepless in the Saddle.

As 24-hour races tend to get the knees knocking the team has changed a couple of times since it was first conceived, but it is now back in shape and ready to roll.

If you want to drop in and see us, there will be me (Mark, to those in the know), Leif and Alan – a couple of writers for a Kiwi Mountain Bike magazine – and Rory from USE. Sorry but no Mike Davis, he is currently resting up on holiday to get ready for all the ’05 product annoucements.

The BM photographer will be there working hard as always, so keep an eye out (just the one) for him on the course.

If Rory is feeling generous, he may even let us look up his skirt at his new Exposure lights which he/we will be riding with. We should be able to give you our first impressions next week.

So if you see us, come over and say hi, we will have heaps of coffee, hot chocolate and soup… but unfortunately no cups or hot water, so you will need to bring those along.

We will also be cutting a fine figure in the new BM riding tops for those who may want to see them in the flesh, just no inappropriate touching.
