Hope Technology lead Rapha Super Cross after two rounds

National champion Paul Oldham’s Hope Technology squad lead the team standings after the opening two rounds of the Rapha Super Cross series.

Jody Crawforth (Hargroves) and Lee Williams (Wiggle) went head-to-head for the individual win at round one in Windermere on Saturday, with Williams pulling away in the closing stages for a surprise individual win.

But, with Oldham third and team-mates Dave Collins and Dan Booth fifth and sixth respectively, Hope claimed the team prize.

Crawforth outsprinted Oldham for round two victory in Huddersfield on Sunday but it was Oldham’s Hope Technology team that once again claimed the team prize.

Hope now lead the team competition on 20 points after two rounds, with Scott UK on 18, and Rapha/GB, Wiggle and Hargroves each locked on 14.

The Rapha Super Cross finale takes place at London’s Alexandra Palace on Sunday October 23.
