The third Forest of Dean enduro takes place on 28 September around a ‘stunning’ 10 miles course, the result of much hard work by the Royal Dean Forest Cycle Club.
The organisers describe the course as “incorporating seemingly endless technical single-track and smooth undulating fire roads,” and continue with “…some of the most inspiring trails in the country, a true mountain bike paradise.”
If that’s whetting your appetite, the event is open to anyone from the age of 12 upwards and for all abilities and newcomers to enduro racing. Just choose between one to four laps of the circuit.
Prizes are on offer for the top three in each category. You’ve got until 26 Friday to get your entry in. Head to www.rdfcc.org.uk to do that now.
