The Jagwire Pink Cable House project has been set up to raise money for the Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative. Pink outer cable is being produced by Jagwire, in a effort to raise awareness for the near ½ million people succumbing to the disease around the world on an annual basis. The efforts of foundations, organisations and research facilities will be helped by the Pink Cable Housing Initiative
2×2 have announced their involvement and support for the Jagwire Pink Cable Housing initiative saying: “We are delighted to pioneer this initiative as the only UK based bicycle brand to have agreed a deal to support this project at the manufacturing stage and feel very strongly about supporting such a worthwhile cause”.
Land Rover are showing their support by kitting out all six of their 2007 bikes with the Pink cable outer. A portion of the profits made from the product will go to the Breast Cancer Research organisations.
For people wanting to support the initiative the housing kits are available as an after market product from Jagwire and its partner distributors.
