As the Demo Series continues to take the latest bikes to various trails around the UK, heading this weekend to Grizedale Forest, we caught up with Giant Bicycles, to find out how the series has been from their side of the fence.
Giant’s Simon Jenkinson says: “Cannock was hugely popular, as always, and with thousands of visitors to Follow The Dog and the new Giant sponsored Monkey Trail since it was launched last year we knew we would have a great day for the Demo Series.”
“The Forestry Commission’s Andy Coggins was really confident in the trails and how well they have coped with the high volume of users and the harsh winter of 2010/2011 and riders certainly weren’t disappointed; the recent spell of dry weather meant the trails were running super fast – perfect for testing the latest 2011 Giant mountain bikes.
“Nearly 100 consumers braved the cold to take advantage of the best demo bike facility available in the UK and the all-new 29’ers proved especially popular judging by the wide grins of the riders as they returned to the Giant arena. Thanks to everyone for coming along and being so friendly – you really made it an enjoyable day for the Giant demo team!
“The bikes were so popular that the whole fleet was out on the trail for large parts of the day so a special thank you to those of you who patiently waited when you had a particular model in mind.
“There’s still chance to take advantage of this great event in 2010 – this Saturday we’re at Grizedale and then on Saturday May 7th we’re heading up to Laggan – we look forward to seeing you there. “
