The Torm T2 Jersey is a classic, retro inspired merino wool jersey at a fraction of the cost of its competitors.
What they say: Made with SportWool this performance jersey is comfort and performance combined. Itch free and odour resistant its advanced technology transports perspiration away from the body leaving you cool and dry.
What it is: Produced by small independent brand Torm, the T2 jersey wears as well as it is easy on the eye. For those who prefer the retro look but come over all itchy at the thought of pulling on an old wool jersey, then this is the one. The subtle stripe across the chest provides the heritage style and branding is kept to a tiny stitched signature.
If you decide to buy then think about the look you want. Torm suggest that the difference between staying with your size and going up one will offer you the alternative of a race fit or a more casual fit. I went up a size and found that the sleeves still hug the arms and the neck is snug but the jersey hangs low and loose enough that it just about blends in for post-ride off the bike wear. Perfect for casual weekend riding.
Perhaps the greatest thing about the Torm T2 jersey is the price. At £54 it is an absolute bargain and if there’s better value for money out there (this is a technical merino wool jersey!) I’d like to see it.
Who it’s good for: The subtle, pared back design that Torm stick to will appeal to riders who like to go unnoticed yet still flaunt a little retro style. The jersey is ludicrously good value for money and comes from a tiny independent company with a great DIY ethos.
