Shimano’s Accu3d R wind breaker jacket has been awarded a Gold Award at the iF Product Design Award 2011 ceremony at the CeBIT trade fair in Hannover, Germany this week.

The wind breaker weighs only 63g and can be packed down tightly to fit inside a jersey pocket or take up very little space in a hydration pack. It offers a high level of water resistance and very high tear resistance, making it suitable for “intense” riding conditions.
