The meeting of minds of a bunch of riders, designers, artists and a couple of bike mechanics has resulted in the launch of a new clothing brand recently. Republik Apparel is a US-based company that’s aiming to inject some fresh ideas and new designs into the bike world.
The crew behind it all are devoted mountain bikers, whether it be freeride, dirt jumping, park or XC, and have turned out a collection of MTB specific jerseys and shorts, all echoing the style influence of the skating world.
And not only do they look good, but the materials have been carefully chosen for performance. We’re particularly keen on the Flagline, an all-mountain jersey made from moisture wicking polyester and featuring ¾ length sleeves.
Getting your brand ‘out there’ is important, and often a tricky task, so Republik has signed up young up and coming riders Ryan Howard and Kyle Jameson to wear its stuff.
