A while ago (OK, so we lost track of time a bit) we gave you the chance to win the very limited edition comememorative book Stumpjumper: 25 Years of Mountain Biking. Chronicling the history of the Specialized and the first large-scale production mountain bike, it’s quite a read. We’ve lost countless hours just flicking through the glossy pages, each filled with stunning photos and stories of the early days of MTBing.
So, we asked the fairly simple question: What manufacturer supplied the brake levers on the 1981 Stumpjumper – judging from some of the entries we received, some of you need to brush up on your bike history – the correct answer is Tommaselli (as listed on page 21 of the prize).
The following three names were selected from the BM random winner generator:
- John Underwood
- Duncan Gray
- Andrew Johns
Congratulations! We’ll be in touch soon, and thanks to everyone who took part in the comp. Don’t worry if you didn’t win, we’ve got plenty more comps lined up soon.
