The Human Race Festival of Sport takes place against the stunning backdrop of St. Michael’s Mount, Cornwall from September 14-16.

We’re giving away a Team Sportive Weekend away at the Festival of Sport. The winner will get five sportive entries in distances of your choice, two evenings of live music and a range of beach sports. Furthermore, all riders will receive a free additional festival pass for friends and family.

With a range of all ability mass participation sporting events – includes road cycling, kayaking, open water swimming and  triathlon – plus live music, festival fun, beach sports and children’s activities, the Festival of Sport promises to be a brilliant weekend for everyone.

The two road cycling sportives, sponsored by Cycle West, will take place on the morning of Saturday September 15 and comprise of two distances – 100km and 150km – as well as a female-only 40km Cycletta ride.

All sportive routes take in the stunning views of Cornwall, making it one of the most beautiful rides in Britain. The views will include St Michael’s Mount, Cape Cornwall, Lands’ End, Penzance and the St. Just Mining District.

The evenings will see the festival come to life again with a full programme of live music featuring local Cornish bands and headline acts including British Rock band, Reef, best known for their number 1 smash hit Place Your Hands.
