Rocky Mountain’s 29er “Vertex” hardtail – this one may say prototype, but they’re ready to roll right away. By using the press-fit BB92 bottom bracket system, tapered headtube and direct-mount front mech, they’ve put together a chunky looking frame that’s one of the more “right” looking 29ers out there. Nice to see rack mounts sticking around, too.
Most of those frame features (with added suspension) are employed on the Altitude 29er full-sus, a 120mm bike. Rocky’s 29er geometry features a super-steep 76.5° static seat angle (74.5° when riding).
