Previously only available as a frame only, Ragley Bikes will now offer its Piglet and Blue Pig models as complete bikes.
There will be two specs for each frame, with prices starting at £1075. The Blue Pig, a long-forked hardcore trail hardtail, is built from a triple butted chromoly tubeset with the company’s distinctive three-finger bridge increasing clearance around the rear wheel. Geometry has been penned around a 130-150mm fork resulting in a 67.5 degree head angle. A 44mm headtube means you can run any fork you want, 11/8in or tapered.
The Piglet is a toned down Blue Pig, which was launched at Eurobike at the end of 2010. The head angle is a tad steeper, 68.5 degrees, and takes a shorter 120mm fork, so it’s a little more ‘traditional’ then the Blue Pig’s shape. Still features a butted steel frame, that three-finger bridge on the driveside chainstay and ‘Fathead’ tapered downtube.
Here’s a look at the specs available for the Blue Pig. Watch out for a first ride very soon.
