Marin has just released a range of UK-specific hardtails that offer great performance at a decent price.

The Black and White Line hardtails use a hydroformed aluminium frame similar to that as seen on the popular Hydro-Light series but with carefully chosen specifications that “represent fantastic value for money” says Marin.

There are six models in the range including one women’s specific version, and prices stretching from £899 to £1499.

All models use the same triple butted frame equipped with Marin’s usual attention to detail. The entry-level £899 Black Line and White Line are finished with Shimano Deore groupsets and Rock Shox Tora SL forks, but spend a bit more on the Pro version and you can choose from either a Rock Shox SID/Hope/Mavic/XT or Fox 32 F100 RL/Mavic Cross Ride/XT/XTR specification.
