Founded in 1997, Dutch brand BeOne hasn’t generally popped up very high on the UK radar. But now that online retailer Chain Reaction Cycles is handling the UK distribution, that should change.

And there’s certainly plenty to get excited about, as a casual flick through the brochure assures: BeOne has produced some highly polished, well priced and well specced bikes. The MTB range is split between three carbon and three aluminium bikes, covering different price points.

The bikes are clearly pegged at racers or those seeking a fast handling bike for XC action. The top-end bikes were developed for its fleet of professional racers, with plenty of feedback coming from them to the R+D department. The range then consists of, at the top, three carbon hardtails, with the Blue model costing £3599.99.

Sharing the same geometry, there are three aluminium options that look to offer reasonable build kits for a decent prices. Then there’s the bike for which BeOne says is aimed at “urban heroes,” the Rumble. It’s built around a chunky frame, in either 15in or 17in, and bolted in place is a spec that can only be described as sturdy.
