For 2013, off road cyclists can feel comfortable in knowing that, whatever standard they choose, they can count on Fulcrum to provide the performance and quality that even the most accomplished athletes have come to appreciate. With the launch of two new wheels designed around the 650B (27.5”) platform Fulcrum has completed the off road range to include high performance wheelsets in 26, 27.5 and 29 inch versions. The Fulcrum engineering staff has worked diligently to design and produce wheels around this new platform that maintain the same ride quality and dependability that its 26” and 29” brethren have become famous for.

RED METAL XRP 650B 1525g

The RED METAL XRP 650B is a tubeless wheelset ready for the rigors and extreme demands of professional racing. Weighing in at a mere 1525gr for the pair, the newly added XRP 650B is light enough for the toughest climbs as well as for the quickest accelerations on race day. Performance solutions lies in exclusive technology such as the triple-milled, lightened rim, the oversize carbon fiber hub and thinned straight head steel spokes with the unique Fulcrum Two-to-One™ spoke layout on the front wheel. The rear wheel also boasts a milled rim and lightweight aluminum nipples in an effort to keep otational mass low while maintaining structural integrity. Double seal construction, with one seal directly incorporat- ed into bearings and another in the hub, ensures that these wheels maintain their efficiency over time and can stand up to the most demanding terrains of off road cycling. Available in both 6-Bolt and AFS configurations, the RED METAL XRP 650B is perfectly compatible with any system.

SET OF SYNTACE X-12 135/142MM REAR WHEEL ADAPTORS – the O.L.D. of the 12mm Thru-Axle rear wheel can be increased from 135 to 142 mm.
