Wider is better as far as Enve Composites are concerned.
Enve Composites have launched what they call the “perfect bar for more aggressive downhill racing and riding.”
At 800mm wide, the carbon DH bar has a 9° sweep, 23mm rise and weighs in at 225g.
“We have been spending a lot of time with guys riding downhill, four-cross and jump bikes and the growing theme has been wider is better,” said ENVE Composites founder Jason Schiers.
“So the introduction of a 800mm bar addresses the width needs of anyone.
“Carbon on dirt still presents a formidable challenge to overcome, but as with all of the products we make, we expect that durability in addition to ride quality is a given.
“2010 showed us how far we would have to push ourselves to come up with responses to the demands of the pro circuit, and the DH bar is the beginning of those efforts that are now coming to the market for everyone to enjoy.”
