Sportique products are a range of oils and creams made entirely from natural ingredients and designed to meet the demands of active people. Sportique follow the simple aim of using the purest ingredients for its products, so you won’t find any petroleum, synthetic or animal-sourced stuff in the ingredients.
Now the names might suggest the products are aimed more at our road cycling cousins, and they are, but don’t let that put you off. Products such as Century Riding Cream will be as much use to us as to roadies. As the name suggests, it’s intended to go between body and chamois and prevent damaging friction irritations before they begin. A “balanced blend of botanicals” helps your skin repair if damage occurs, and anti-microbial properties prevent bacteria growth.
Elements Cream is intended to protect exposed parts of your body such the face, whether it’s sunny, windy, raining or icy cold, and prevent chaffing and chapping. Extract of Durvillea Antartica, a species of seaweed , protects your face in the cold but it also creates a moisture shield in intense heat.
Before a workout Get Going Cream invigorates muscles and increases blood circulation to prepare you for your ride. Road Rash Balm comes in a small tube that can easily be kept in your kit bag in case of scrapes and bruises, with its blend of Neem oil infused with Ozone, known for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing properties, to tend to minor scrapes and small abrasions. Can also be used for sunburn and chapped lips.
After a long hard ride Cooling Cream has anti-inflammatory properties (with emollient Shea butter, Jojoba and Apricot and Soy bean oils) to rub into tired legs to improve recovery.
The feet aren’t often parts of the body that are paid much attention to, but Hard Day’s Night Foot Cream is a deodorizing cream, with vitamins and herbal extracts, to soothe tired feet.
