Shimano has launched its eyewear range for 2011.
The high-end S60R model has been developed using Shimano’s Metal Fit Design, using a stainless steel plate to connect two separate frames in order to adjust the eyewear for a perfect individual fit.
The anti-fog and anti-scratch lens has full UV 400 protection, while the S60R-PH has photochromatic lenses. Both versions will be available in metallic black, metallic white or brilliant blue.
Shimano’s medium-range S50X has been designed for use both on and off the bike. The S50X includes three sets of lenses and is compatible with RX-clips for prescription glasses.
The existing S40R is now also available for women and children by using a smaller frame fit – the S40RS. Available in metallic white, metallic black, ice pink or sky blue, the S40RS is also compatible with RX-clips.
The new range will be available from January.
