We reported on nuun, a portable electrolyte drink, last year, and now a fourth flavour has been added to the range. Not only does the “Kona Cola” add a new option for taste buds, but the addition of caffeine will give an extra boost when you’re flagging.
Each compact tube is filled with 12 tablets, one being enough for a typical 500ml bottle, and the new flavour adds 20 milligrams of caffeine to the electrolyte product. And the reason for the name? The product was put to test in an Ironman event stage in Kona, Hawaii.
nuun is also available in Lemon and Lime, Citrus Fruit and Tri-Berry. One tube packed with 12 tablets costs £4.99. Now available at over 300 running, cycling, outdoor and sport shops across the UK and Ireland. For more information and a list of retailers visit www.nuun.com.
And for those wondering, nuun is pronounced noon.
