Here’s an interesting concept. The innovative Ruckjack combines a waterproof jacket with a large capacity rucksack.
Boldly blurring the lines between jackets and rucksacks, the Ruckjack can be switched between its two modes in seconds thanks to a simple “zip and two clips” system. It means you can have the versatility, should you need it, of staying dry when needed and being able to lug around extra clothing when you don’t.
The Ruckjack does this clever trick by storing a separate waterproof bag inside an internal pocket. What isn’t clear is what you’re supposed to do with the items you might put in the Ruckjack when in rucksack mode, and find you need to convert it into a jacket halfway through your ride…
Two versions, Switch and Sonar, are available, priced £45.99 and £55.99 respectively. More at www.ruckjack.com.
