The new GTrek GPS device tracks your speed, distance and altitude and its software transfers collected data to 3D Google Maps for a highly detailed graphical record of your ride.
The GTrek was originally developed for skiers, but the company is now aiming it at walkers, hikers and cyclists. What GTrek can’t do is offer navigation information while you’re riding, but is intended solely for those cyclists who are more interested in analysing their ride once they’re back home.
It costs £99 and comes complete with all necessary leads, software and a Li-ion rechargeable battery. Find out more at www.gtrek.co.uk
