A wallet made out of Duct tape, who would have thunk it? We know that it is the universal substance that is suitable for repairing anything from clothing to cars, but a wallet? Ducti is an American company which has apparently taken the ‘extreme’ world by storm with their selection of Duct tape products. you’ve got all sorts available in the range from wallets, to bags, to watches and other assorted gubbins.
Apparently their first wallet, ‘the classic’, was dreamt up in a trip to New Zealand where they felt they needed a wallet that matched their living on the edge, bungee-jumping lifestyle. Their early prototypes were developed with standard Duct tape, but with the sticky nature of the product they had a little trouble retrieving the wallet from their trousers. To elimate this problem, they scoured the globe to produced a ‘Super Duct Tape’. This new technology meant that the wallets ‘wont lift peel or get sticky’. We have been running around with one in our back pocket for the past month and have had no problems.
So if you feel you need a wallet that can keep up with your head-splitting lifestyle, we think this may be it.
Check out the full range at www.ducti.co.uk for the full range.
We even have one to give away. It is the Tri-fold so it differs a little from the ‘Classic’ in the picture above, but just as tasty. All we want to know is ‘What is the most unusual use you have found for Duct tape’.
