The latest from mapping specialists Anguet is GroundRanger, a new map designed to provide a clear backdrop on which to display routes. The low-key styling makes the map easier to read on all screen sizes and allows the user’s routes to stand out clearly.
The detail of the familiar OS 1:50,000 or 1:25,000 scale map can sometimes make them difficult to read when viewing larger areas on small screens or printed A4 sheets. The GroundRanger map solves this problem by removing much of the unnecessary detail and clutter making them more useful for longer routes on the mountain bike.
“GroundRanger won’t replace your OS 1:50,000 or 1:25,000 scale maps but sometimes a very clear and simple map is just what you need, especially when travelling quickly and this is where GroundRanger comes in,” said Ed Marriage, Anquet
The new maps provide some of the best value area coverage in Anquet range. GoundRanger is available as 10 Regional Titles (£10), central, southern and northern Half Countries Titles (from £14.03) and the whole of Great Britain (£28.61). Alternatively users can cut their own map from as little as £5.
