We revealed details of the Osprey Escapist backpack earlier this month. Essentially it’s a 20l, 25l or 30l pack designed for rides that demand you carry a lot of kit, such as day-long rides, overnight adventures and multi-day tours.

And, having seen this video, it’s fair to say Osprey have done their homework. Dan Milner took a 25l Escapist to the the Upper Mustang Region of Nepal, on a trail that took 12 days to complete – with more than 17,000 metres of climbing.
