Riding High UK has announced that it’ll be adding Gravity Dropper to its already-extensive portfolio of brands (including Element, Spank, Canfield, Bergamont, AXO, Astrix, Superfly and Knolly).
Ever find yourself on a steep bit of knadgery trail and wish you had stopped at the top and dropped your saddle? Gravity Dropper posts ingeniously allow just that by the flick of a handlebar mounted lever, meaning you can drop the saddle a useful 2, 3 or 4in lower and out of the way .
The Classic and Turbo both offer the remote handlebar lever, the Turbo providing a faster drop action as well as multiple drop positions. The Descender does without the remote lever
GravityDropper was introduced in 2003, and specialises in mechanical “on the fly” adjustable height seatposts. All posts are manufactured and assembled in-house in Montana, USA.
CNC machined form 7075 T-6 aluminium and available in 27.2mm diameter with shimming up to larger sizes, and in lengths from 275 to 425mm.
