What’s this, some crazy lunatics performing death defying stunts over the Tour de France peloton? Apparently so, and most certainly following in the footsteps of Dave Watson’s crazy gap jump over the tail-end of the peloton as it approached the summit of the Col de Galibier some years ago.

This time around though, two unnamed French MTBers decided what was needed to celebrate the passing of the Tour de France was a 10m water jump into a nearby lake. Bonkers.

And thanks to the wonders of YouTube, we can relive Watson’s 45ft jump and subsequent crash in the video below.
