We’ve had quite a lot of pics from Dan Barham on BM this year, partially because he’s geographically convenient for things happening in North America but mostly because he’s quite good. He’s been doing prints of selected bits of his archive for some time, but what with Christmas approaching he’s applied a seasonal discount. Despite being resident in Canada, Dan’s still very English when it comes to marketing:
“Not being one for blatant self-promotion (well, not much), I’m not really sure what to write here to make everyone more likely to order up one of the art prints I currently have on sale, at a special discounted price ‘specially for Christmas. Either you’ll like them or you won’t; that’s cool, I won’t hold it against you,” he writes.
They’re “giclée” prints using archival inks on 100% cotton rag “William Turner” paper by German art paper specialists Hahnemühle. Or to put it another way, they’re on thick, textured stuff and are rated to last over a hundred years regardless of UV exposure.
The full selection can be viewed at http://www.danbarham.com/prints/ – the prices are all in Canadian dollars, but as of this afternoon the 12x8s are about £38, the 18x12s are £66 and the 24x16s £90, with shipping to the UK around £8.
