Super exciting racing today in the women’s field at the last round of the XC World Cup, with a nail biting finish, but Irina Kalentieva took the win by just 20 seconds. Unfortunately for Julie Bresset who was leading until the penultimate lap, and punctured which left her way back in the mix, Bresset managed to claw back some positions, and finished in 3rd place just behind 2nd placed Eva Lechner.

Tanja Zakelj has taken the overall elite women’s title this weekend too, and this round is the first round she hasn’t been on the podium!
