This weekend the UCI World Cup Downhill circus will race its penultimate round of the 2013 season in stunning Norway at the Hafjell Bike Park. Last year saw Steve Smith of Devinci Cycles take his first ever World Cup win on a course that combines huge jumps, tricky rock sections and plenty of speed to make for a truly great test of rider skill. Will he do it this year? Having won the last round in Mont Sainte Anne, Canada, this could perhaps be the perfect remedy after his disaster of a World Championship where he fell in the first corner.
Here’s Scott’s Claudio Caluori doing his thing – riding the course blind, telling us stories as he goes and generally being very entertaining. Enjoy it and get ready for another great weekend of live World Cup coverage coming up.
