After the ups and downs of Dalby Forest and Margam Park in May, the British Series travels to the slightly less hilly New Forest for Round 4 at Crow Hill.

With sold out races at all three rounds expect another bumper entry as the Nation’s finest lock horns at the 2008 National Champs venue.

In the elite category each round has featured a different winner in both men and women and we’re looking for a first Brit win of the season in the women’s class after 3 wins split between Australian and New Zealand riders Katherine O’Shea, Kate Potter and Rosara Joseph.

In the age categories entries have been particularly high in the women’s fields with over 20% of the entry coming from female riders.

Racing around the 6.1km singletrack rich course takes place all day on Saturday 27 June with ability and age racing for 12-70 year olds and then free under 12 races in the evening. Sunday sees the first staging of the English Marathon Championships around an extended 12.5km course.

Camping with water, flushing toilets and hot showers is on site with Quaver Catering available all weekend. Swinnertons bike shop will be there with mechanic services from elite tech and bike was from the Hope Sh1t Shifter Man. Other exhibitors include Torq, Felt, Orbea, Weldtite, Colnago/Marzocchi, AKP Ducati, Orange Monkey and Shred magazine. Timing is supplied by Timelaps and Joolze Dymond will be the photographer in attendance.
