The 661 Mini downhill race series returns this winter to Forest of Dean on Sunday 6 December.
It’s billed as a great way to get into DH mountain bike racing, aimed at new riders to the sport to give it a go. For the more experienced there is a ProAm class.
Riders get two race runs each, and with the race sponsored by SixSixOne, Sunline and Royal Clothing there will be loads of top prizes to race for.
Chris Roberts race organiser and the brains the idea of the Mini Downhill says: “There are hundreds of people who ride at the Forest of Dean that have never raced, so we have brought a race to their local track, The course is fun and following to ride but a real challenge to ride flat out on the limit.”
