Starting August 1, bike store chain Cycle Surgery is putting on a series of free events aimed at helping female cyclists improve their riding on and off road. And if you know someone who’s not yet taken the two-wheeled plunge bring them along too – the bike-curious are also welcome.
The events are supported by Specialized and are designed for cyclists and non-cyclists. “Whether you’re just getting started, preparing for a cycle event or looking for tips to make your cycling more enjoyable, these evenings are for you,” says Cycle Surgery.
Each event will focus on a particular branch or type of cycling. The first one, at Cycle Surgey’s Spitalfields branch, will home in on mountain biking essentials.
Cycle Surgery will be providing refreshments including LOLA’s cupcakes and there’s a free goody bag for the first 50 to attend each event. There will also be competitions to win the latest kit, and an in-store shopping discount.
Places are limited, so nip over to the Cycle Surgery website and reserve your spot now.
Each event runs 6pm to 8pm at:
Wednesday, 1st August at Cycle Surgery Spitalfields Special Focus: Mountain biking essentials.
Thursday, 16th August at Cycle Surgery Victoria Special Focus: Commuting & beyond.
Tuesday, 21st August at Cycle Surgery Holborn Special Focus: Riding in the city.
Tuesday, 4th September at Specialized Concept Store Covent Garden Special Focus: Road riding & charity events.
