The Avid Arch Rival 50 has the same Accu-Push pad movement which made the significantly more expensive Arch Supreme so popular. Forged rather than CNC-machined the 50 does without the more expensive and least crucial bells and whistles to slash £90 off the price of a pair with little or no change in braking performance. We haven’t had to adjust the 50’s once since fitting them. Fiddle-free maintenance.
