Team Ritchey / Yahoo have already announced that Thomas Frischnekcht will be riding Scott frames in 2001 and now we’ve got details of the official Scott line up.

The whole team are youngsters but they’ve already racked up some significant wins. Swiss 19 year old Florian Vogel, was 3rd in Junior World Championships 2000, 2nd at European Championships 2000, Swiss cup winner overall junior 2000. Frenchman Cedric Ravanel is the grandaddy of the team at 23 yrs. old and moves up to elite after taking 5th at Espoir (U-23) World Championships 2000, 4th at U-23 European Championships 2000 and the U-23 French championships. both riders will be riding the ultralight Scott Strike carbon full suspension bike.

On the downhill front, Scott have bagged French teenage prodigy Celine Gros who is racing her last year as a junior having won 4th place, Junior World Championships, European Champion in Dual and Junior European Champion in Downhill last season even though she’s only 18. Finally, French 20 year old, Franck Parolin joins the team after taking 11th place, Mont Sainte-Anne World Cup 2000 and 3rd place, Avalanche Cup in Lyon, and hitting the limelight as European Champion in Downhill in 1999.

Meanwhile over on the American west coast Answer Manitou are coaxing ever more riders onto their racing fork range, and boy do they want to tell us. Considering the number of World, Olympic and Norba champions in there we’re not suprised they’re excited though.
