Lance Armstrong will be gunning for his third Tour De France win, with the help of some formidable allies.

The final USPS roster – Lance Armstrong, Viatcheslav Ekimov, Tyler Hamilton, Roberto Heras, George Hincapie, Steffen Kjaergaard, Victor Hugo Pena, Jose Luis Rubiera and Christian Vande Velde – combines specialist strengths (such as climber Heras) with the experience of Hincapie, Ekimov and Hamilton.

This leaves Matthew White and Cedric Vasseur on the subs bench and team director Johan Bruyneel has already said “In my three years with the U.S. Postal Service team, the selection for our Tour de France team was never this difficult.”
