Video: Super-cool 24-hour-racing time-lapse 'Bikes in the Forest'
The Mont 24-Hour is Australia’s original and biggest 24-hour mountain bike race, but rather than do the usual documentary footage of suffering soloists and partying teams of six, Canberra video house Sixth Row shot this cool time-lapse sequence between 10pm and 3am. Enjoy!
If you’re likely to find yourself in Australia in march, the Mont 24-Hour is a fantastic event and unlike British 24-hour races it’s almost always warm and dry.

I really like this video, especially the sequence at 42 seconds in, as it shows one of the first tracks we built for the Mont 24 Hour Race in 2011 (track name Magic Mushroom). Oh yeah, and the slug on the mushroom is awesome too. We’ve built SO MUCH MORE track since then… for the Kowalski Classic and the Mont 24HR. Come, Ride, Smile.
