Nearly 700 riders tackled the third TORQ in Your Sleep enduro at Minley Manor with the TORQ Performance team completing 20 laps to win the men’s team title.

With 12 hours to complete as many laps of the eight-mile course as possible, the team led from start to finish to come home one lap ahead of Lordswood House Mafia.

In the women’s team race, Kruising So Far and Larkfield Cycles/Hedonism Hotties exchanged the lead throughout and both finished with 12 laps only for Kruising So Far to win with a 27 minute, 35 second margin.

The mixed team race was also hotly contested with the Lufbra Allstars battling it out with the XCRacer crew and Cyclezone UK hot on their heels.

But a mechanical on lap three for Cyclezone member Ruth Mordaunt put her team on the back foot and Lufbra managed to score 19 laps to claim victory a lap clear of XCRacer.

The men’s pairs race went down to the wire with TORQ pair Tim Dunford and James Lister pipping top elite rider Dave Collins and enduro specialist Craig Bowles by just ten minutes after 19 laps.

Steve Webb completed 16 laps to take the men’s solo race and Kathy Beresford scored 13 laps to take the women’s solo title, while in the women’s pairs Charge racked up 14 laps to win their category.
