Words: Mini Enduro organisation
The next One Industries Mini Enduro will take place at Caersws, Mid Wales, on Sunday 21st July 2013.
Taking the inspiration from the last World Enduro series,we are following for what most would call the best format for Enduro with no practice weeks before the race just practice on the weekend before racing the stage.
Caersws – Mid Wales
We will mixing up the tracks at Caersws to give you 3 stages on parts of some never used tracks at Caersws.
The map for the stages will be released on Friday night before the race so its a level playing field for everyone come Sunday’s race day.
The format is practice all morning and race in the afternoon over the 3 stages, there will be nice easy transitions times between stages which will return you back through the pits after each stage.
The Mini Enduros will take place over one day and will be of a shorter distance to the UK Gravity Enduros to allow riders to practice the the 3 stages before the start of the race later in the day.
The distance will vary but expect to ride about 10 miles with your mornings practice lap.
The transitions will follow the marked route to keep everyone going in the right direction.
All three stage times will be added together to produce the overall results for each category.
Who can race? If you’re 13 or over have a mountain bike and a helmet then you can race. These races are for new riders to the sport of enduro and also more established racers who want to have fun with the pressure of racing the National UK Gravity Enduro Series.
The race order is fastest first:
- Senior 18-29
- Master 30-39
- Veteran 40-49
- Super Veteran 50+
- Open 13 to 17
- Hardtail 13+
Fastest first in each category so no getting held up by slower riders.
Podiums for top 3 in each category and great prizes from One Industries.
