We’ve just had word through of the unveiling of Marin’s flash new range of bikes at the upcoming London Bike Show next week. It sounds like the deep-rooted spirit of cycling still lives in the brand and we can’t wait to see what is on offer from Marin.

Expect some great bikes as Marin unveil their 2013 line up at the London Bike Show.

Here’s the press release:

MARIN presents its exciting new 2013 collection at the London Bike Show

London Excel 17th- 20th January

Without a doubt, there are thousands of epic trails and rides all over the world but there is only one place where there’s the perfect confluence of weather, terrain and attitude. So out of respect for the place that gave birth to a whole new cycling lifestyle, we name each of our bikes after the trails, mountains, roads and towns in the area that we call home – Marin County California.

We continue to develop our mountain bikes on those very same trails and are gratified to know that early Marin pioneering spirit can still be felt, embodied in every bike we build. However, these days it is just as likely to be found within one of our tough Urban bikes on the steep daily commute through San Francisco or a sleek, lightweight road bike powering along the scenic coastal roads of Marin County.

The Marin brand is steeped in history, heritage and the type of culture other bike companies lust after. One of the most recognisable names in the UK cycle market for the last 25 years, around half a million happy UK Marin owners will tell you that the brand name stands for quality, service and legendary frames all bathed in the warm glow of Californian sunshine.

All new for 2013, our market-leading Speed Commuter line and Endurance Road bikes join our revitalised Dual Sport Hybrids and 29er Hardtails, highlighting the great things in-store from the latest Marin range.  Every bike in the 2013 line delivers contemporary looks, remarkable value and is built around an outstanding custom-butted aluminium or T3 carbon frame – a frame that celebrates the connection between bike and rider and communicates the legendary ride quality that is breathed into every frame we make.

Whether you’re new to Marin or been feeling the LOVE since back in the day, the Marin 2013 line offers something for all. Competitive pricing, contemporary colours and graphics, industry leading design and engineering, delivered to you through our exemplary dealer network – quite simply the best bike shops in the UK.

We urge you to stop by stand LB824 at the London Bike Show this January to find out more.

The all-new 2013 MARIN collection:  Inspired by the past, but more relevant today than ever.

Matins were the first real bikes I rode on and raced in the early 90′s but not owned one since then. I don’t care about graphics , looks, etc and value has never really Been a Marin forte’ . It’s how they ride which is important. So Have you got a decent gravity enduro bike bike for a retired uk downhiller?

There are too many autospun articles filled with spam on the
net. How do I know, because I had to spend 20 minutes to actually find this web site.

.. it had been the only one that had genuinely pertinent information.

I can’t believe what is happening to the big g.
