Italian Superenduro Series 2013 dates announced

10:03AM Thu, 20th December 2012

It’s quite possibly the series of races that has brought enduro racing up to the high level it’s now at. Italy’s Superenduro series is hotly contested across a wide range of locations and on trails that can include anything from lung-busting power climbs to brutal rocky downhills.

Dan Atherton. Having raced the 2012 Superenduro series we can expect to see him return for 2013.
The organisation of these events really couldn't be bettered, everything has been thought of and the whole weekend just runs incredibly smoothly, something not many event organisers have managed to get right.
Andrea Bruno is one of the top Italian racers and also a very cool person. He'll be there.
Who could deny Italy's sheer beauty? If you fancy a bike holiday with a difference in 2013, how about some sunshine, warmth, beaches (most the SE races are near the coast) and amazing trails? Get to a Superenduro, and even if you don't fancy racing you'll be sure to have a great time.
10 times downhill World Champion Nicolas Vouilloz raced the 2012 series and he'll most certainly be attending next year.
Finale Ligure: the biggest event of the season for Superenduro. But with the introduction of the World Series, Punta Ala looks set to be equally huge.

The 2013 dates have just been announced, with two categories of event – Pro and Sprint – and the second Pro race plays host to the first (ever!) round of the Enduro World Series. This is going to be a race series to keep an eye on with pro riders from all disciplines showing interest in getting over to Italy and enjoying the superb trails, atmosphere, organisation and of course food!
