Canyon's Fabien Barel and Cannondale's Ben Cruz mull over what could have been.
Cannondale’s Ben Cruz and Canyon’s Fabien Barel mull over what could have been.

Some of the big names once again had technical issues. Fabien Barel was looking good for a top result but infortunately suffered a flat on stage 2. Cannondale’s Ben Cruz was another rider with issues, eventually having to drop out from the competition. His day will hopefully come soon!

Series leader Jared Graves took a 19th place on the first stage but top threes on the remaining three put him into sixth overall at the end of play. It’ll be interesting to see how the series overall stands after today when the points are calculated.

Stay tuned for the full report in words, photos and video.
