NEC Cycle Show 2013 – Paul’s World…

I don’t normally get to shows and as a result had no plan what to look for at this year’s NEC Cycle Show. I subsequently spent most of my time chatting rubbish about non-bike related subjects while searching for long travel 29ers…

If you’re headed to the NEC today or this weekend why not let us know your favourite bits from the show in the comments below? E-bike anyone?

Oh and by the way, if you are heading to the Cycle Show and want a discount code exclusive to Bike Magic, click here.

Anyway, here’s my brief look at some weird and wonderful exhibits. Expect poor iPhone photos, bad grammar and incorrect facts. Enjoy!

British Downhill organiser Si ‘Jester’ Paton, testing out a ‘Cuda scooter, and sporting a dad belly for 2014.

World Cup downhill racer Lorenzo Suding is a Living Legend. Half American, half loose cannon. Here he is with his new signature sock from Exceptio sport. Today I learnt a lot about socks, Exceptio’s owner Rob knows his stuff.
Trek Slash. Bigger wheels and orange paint, should be a very popular choice on the Enduro circuit next year.
Moustache Bikes from France, 130mm travel, Bosch motor, 29″ front and 27.5″ rear wheel mismatch.
Forget carbon, wooden handlebars, designed for posers at your local fixie cafe.
