UCI XC racing heads to France this weekend. Can Nino claim a third victory?

Start your motor running, it’s the fourth round of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup XCO this weekend, as the circus heads to La Bresse, France.

With a short window of recovery time from an exciting Nova Mesto in the Czech Republic last weekend, the world’s elite cross-country racers will prepare to do battle once again. And what a battle it’s turning out to be; Nino Schurter has grabbed two wins on his 650b Scott while Julien Absalon has claimed a win on his regular 26in-wheeled hardtail.

There’s some fast contenders for the win this weekend. Both Jaroslav Kulhavy and Burry Stander showed they are peaking nicely as they pushed Nino all the way over six hard laps of the testing Nove Mesto course. Kulhavy has yet to win a race this season, and must surely be desperate to put that right and notch up his first win before London 2012?

Who is your money on for the win?

Here’s a little preview video:

Well I hope the course will be as good as Nova Mesto, more viewer friendly elements like the sharp inclines and jump sections please! Are there any more details on the course?
