Absa Cape Epic 2012: Stage three photo gallery
Burry Stander and Christoph Sauser claimed their third victory of the Absa Cape Epic on the 147km stage from Robertson to Caledon. Here’s another stunning selection of photos from the day’s racing South Africa.

They’re pretty amazing, aren’t they? Makes you want to grab the bike and book a flight to South Africa. We’ll have a photo gallery from every stage so there’s plenty more to come.
Is it just me or do they only ride on flat and dusty roads?
In the only pictures where the surface is not flat, the ‘riders’ are carrying their bikes!
Don’t they actually ride any trails?
I can assure you that’s just lazy photographers picking the easiest places to get shots Big GT! When I rode it a couple of years ago there were plenty of super technical trails, just a shame the photographers didn’t trek out to them!
