Eurobike 2013: Product Hot or Not Part 1

We’re over here at Eurobike in Germany and, in between copious amounts of coffee and cake, we’re getting to look at some of the most innovative, fresh products that will be on sale soon. Paul Haysom was out testing at the official demo day and took some snap shots along the way of the best and, well, most outstanding sights.

We’ll have further product galleries and will take a look at the best of Eurobike as the week goes on, along with a full round-up of new releases.

For now here is a teaser for you all. You decide, hot or not..? Let us know your favourites in the comments.

God help our trails when the electric monsters take over

  2. chris.m

Marin = Not! Looks super ugly and needs to be made to look a bit sleeker, IMHO.
Kona Process = Hot. What a great looking bike. Really low and looks very chuckable.

  3. James McKnight

Chris, when Paul came back from demo day couldn’t shut him up about the Kona – apparently it rides well too then.

  4. chris.m

It looks like a mini DH bike, James. Kona have really stepped it up this past few years. They were a bit vanilla, but now… not so much :)
Also, the new GT Force is a nice looking bike. Denk looks to have made a big difference for GT. I just hope it rides as good as it looks, ’cause it looks great!

Electric bikes are motorbikes and should not be allowed on bicycle trails

If ebikes catch on it will kill mountain biking (for me at least). Can you imagine sweating your way up an intense climb and some lard arse overtakes you on an ebike?
