This Saturday, 18 February, Rutland Cycling is hosting a 29er demo day at the Fineshade Cycling trail centre.
The day will be a chance for anyone who has been stroking their chins about the whole ‘29er debate’ the chance to find out for themselves just what these bigger wheels are all about.
And what an impressive range of bikes Rutland Cycling has managed to pull together. Here’s the list of bikes that will be on offer to you. In total there should be some 70 bikes in the demo, so everyone should be catered for.

The small print
To demo bikes on the 18th riders will need a credit card and proof of id. For prices, reservations and for more information on the 29er demo day call Fineshade Cycling on 01780 440 899 or visit www.rutlandcycling.com
Gore Bike Wear demo
As well as testing a brand spanking new bike, Gore Bike Wear will be on hand and letting people get their new clothing all sweaty. That’s not an offer you get every often now is it? They’ll have their Windstopper Alp-X softshell and Fusion Active Shell jackets ready for you.
Bikemagic will be there
And if all that doesn’t sound good enough already, Bikemagic will be attendance. We’ll be riding some of the bikes, and interviewing demo riders to find out what you all think of 29ers. If you see us, please say hello!

Thanks for bringing that demo event to my attention, I’ll look into it
Tara Vallente says:
Hi David,
I’ve linked our newsletter for Keswick Bikes to this message – we’ve got Trek, Cannondale and Specialized here in Keswick all day on the 29th with their 29ers. And there’s a BMBO Trailquest in the evening and if that wasn’t exciting enough The Lakeland Pedlar is staying open late to offer nourishment for hungry muddy cyclists.
We’d love to see you, Tara
