Endura Downhill Shorts go on sale

Endura have developed downhill-specific baggy shorts designed to withstand the demands associated with pointing your front wheel directly down the trail.

The knee-long Endura Downhill Shorts are made from a durable canvas fabric, with reinforced seam construction and bar tacks on all impacts zones, while the full mesh lining looks to keep the baggy’s comfortable.

An adjustable waistband and stretch panels, as well as the ribbed fabric at the lower back and at the crotch, makes for a downhill-specific cut which Endura reckon allows for “full freedom of movement without the shorts riding down or catching on the saddle.”

The shorts are held securely in place by a double-popper which the Scottish company promises will not come undone by itself while riding and zipped pockets and two zipped hip pockets aim to keep your valuable within safe distance. Clickfast waist studs on the waistband hold inner shorts in place, while the freeride fit of the shorts makes them compatible with body armour.

If the shorts look familiar then that’s because they’ve been developed in two versions; one for Endura and one for Hope. Hope’s Defcon DH Shorts or Endura’s option? The choice is yours.

The Endura Downhill Shorts come in two colourways – black/green and camouflage/black – in sizes S-XXL at a retail price of £59.99.
